Genetic testing has found commonalities with dragons, both physical and psychic. (1)
General Physical Appearance
They physically follow the standard humanoid body design. Adults stand near two meters, (or 6'6”), with little variation in size between the sexes. Their bodies appear perfectly proportioned, with elegant and graceful lines. All of them were slender, and possessed little to no body fat.
Their facial features are fine and delicate, but more angular than a human.
The eyes are almond shaped, and possess a slit pupil. Colors cover a wide spectrum, as wide, if not wider, than those found in humans. An intriguing feature found is that the iris is often several colors formed into concentric rings. It can range up to three di

My Waipo Yuehou is a radiant, regal woman in her middle years. By most standards she can’t be called a striking beauty, but her presence makes up for her scars. She has lost her right eye, and the scar around it speaks of fire. Her left hand is missing up to her forearm, but has been replaced by a cyberlimb of opaque ivory crystal. She once told me that she had lost it in the search for the secrets within the blood of her kind. I’m not sure what that means.
She stands almost two meters tall, with a willowy build. A single eye of piercing amber stares out at the world the other a milky white of the blind. Her lips are small and thin, her nose narrow. As for her complexion, it is pale, almost white with the faint blue tint our blood gives.
Her hair is ebony, and reaches past her waist even when worn up in the complicated system of braids she favors. Her wings are the same ebony, but the fe

It took me a moment to get the courage to cross the room to the full length mirror. I stood there for a few minutes trying to calm my breathing before I wiped away the condensation and took a long look at myself.
I could still recognize myself. Even with the changes. At 5'11" I stood significantly shorter than the average, my metatype still appeared to be elven, and if anyone asked I could claim to be a meta variant. It would even hold up to casual inquiries. It would fall apart if anyone tried to do a detailed examination. Bleeding blue would do that. I wasn't human anymore. Ari had referred to me as a Meunoi, and while she was being sketchy about all the changes I was going through, the medical files we had managed to escape with were filling in some of the blanks.
Ethnically I was still Asian, southern
Chapter 1I walked along the black pebbled beach, the warm waves breaking around my ankles. Even though I knew that I was laying back at the caravan dying, and that this was my souls flight I couldn't bring myself to care all that much. There were few enough to mourn me in the lands of the living, and of those I hoped they could forgive me.Chapter 1 by ~Silaeralin
I had been six the first time I entered this realm, it was also the first time I met Vaipo Yuehou. She came to me one night while I was in the hospital. I remember it as one of my prolonged stays; the memory of pain and not being able to draw a full breath.
It was terrifying, and I was all alone in the dark, until she entered the room. I didn't know what to make of her appearance. Her right eye clouded and white, almost hidden behind raven hair, and her arm a bone white cyberlimb. She was dressed in the kind of gown that mother wore to her dinner parties.
She sat down on the edge of the bed and smiled at me. It was the first genuinely friendly face I'd seen i
